​HOW DO I ORDER?
Use the Contact form to send an enquiry or design your own cake here. Once confirmed a 50% deposit is required to secure your booking with the remainder due 7 days prior to your event (wedding cakes require full payment 4 weeks prior).

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT SIZE CAKE I NEED?
The chart below shows approximate number of portions each cake will serve based on the number of people. Generally, dessert and party size serves allow for generous portions that are approx. 4x2x1 inches or larger in size and coffee serves are finger sized portions, 4x1x1inches, that are often served at the end of weddings with coffee. A serving guide is provided with all large cakes and is given to venues on delivery. Our cakes are mostly decadent and rich flavours, therefore we recommend serving smaller portions to start with.












WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SINGLE TIER, DOUBLE BARREL AND TIERED CAKES?
Single tier is generally 4 inches high and made up of 3 layers of cake with 2 layers of filling between. Double barrel is generally 6-8 inches high and is made up of two single tiered cakes stacked on top of each other (with a cake board between to make serving easier). Tiered cakes are two or more cakes high and are usually a combination of cake sizes that are 2 inches in size difference (e.g. 6, 8 and 10 inch round cakes would make up a 3 tiered cake). Tiers can be any height or variations in height, and can be adjusted in size to suit the number of serves required.


DO YOU OFFER CAKE STAND HIRE?

Yes. We have a range of stands available for hire including tiered acrylic cupcake stands, large and small cake stands. Weekend hire is $30 + $50 security deposit which is refunded on return of stand in original condition. 

DO I NEED TO REFRIGERATE MY CAKE?
We recommend not refrigerating fondant cakes as this can make the cake sweat with moisture and can sometimes damage decorations on the outside of the cake. Buttercream cakes, cupcakes and cake pops can be refrigerated (although it’s not necessary). We recommend removing them from the fridge a few hours before your event as they are best served at room temperature.

HOW SOON DO I NEED TO BOOK?
Wedding dates can fill up fast, usually 6-8 months in advance is a good time to book. For party and other events, we prefer at least a few week’s notice, subject to availability. Early is always best!

WHY DO CAKES COST WHAT THEY COST?
Our cakes are made to order using fresh, quality ingredients that go into every aspect of the cake and design. Our cakes are made from scratch, using recipes we have worked hard to perfect over time to ensure they are as fresh and delicious as possible. Some ingredients and decorations such as sugar flowers can be more time consuming and therefore costly to make. There are however many options available so please let us know if you have a particular budget in mind, as we can work with you to create something that suits your needs.   

DO YOU CATER FOR ALLERGIES AND FOOD INTOLERENCES?
Whilst we are happy to accommodate requests for gluten free, vegan and dairy free cakes please note we operate out of a kitchen where we prepare goods that contain all of these ingredients, therefore we can’t guarantee there won’t be traces of these ingredients in our cakes. If you are unsure, feel free to contact us and we can discuss your requirements.
